« Get Thee to the Seattle Bike Expo »
March 13, 2009
Just a quick reminder that the Seattle International Bike Expo is this weekend at Magnuson Park. I'm especially excited to hook up with the Madsen Cycles gang, to check out the production version of their rain canopy and get some new kickstand feet. But I also hear that the Metrofiets guys will be there (pant pant, slobber, lift leg, mount the reflective logo), as will the Joe Bike crew, who are reinventing Chinese bakfiets knockoffs as multifunctional cargo bikes. With PDX cargo bikes that well-represented, we can only hope that CETMA will come on up from Eugene with their new long john bike, or perhaps Clever Cycles with the rebirth of Stokemonkey? Not to mention our hometown family biking faves, Dutch Bike Seattle and Aaron's Bike Repair ... Hopefully we'll see some other family cyclists out there!

great to meet you in person at the Bike Expo today, Totcycle family. Can't wait to ride together with the kiddos sometime. See you soon! /george
p.s. love the idea of a Kidical Mass ride here in Seattle -- let me know how I can help.
Likewise! The Madsen tent was the place to be ... that, or sitting in the Metrofiets bak. A monthly Kidical Mass kicking off in May/June is my hope. Dicey weather, but I can't wait for real summer!
Was great to see you at the Expo!! Glad the weather didnt keep you and the rest of the Seattle cycling community from coming out. Was a great show for us, looking forward to next year.
