« Give Drivers "The Pinky" »

Have you seen the new ad from 76 gas stations (click TV commercials on their site), where they suggest we give courteous drivers "The Pinky"™? Yes, they've actually trademarked it.

Now, I love friendly drivers, but not like that. And besides, giving someone the pinky might be illegal, depending on where you live, even with a consenting adult.

Here's a pinky gesture I much prefer, for the drivers I all-too-frequently encounter:
